Hello everyone, today I will share with you a few knowledge points about the LED lamp beads of solar lamps. At present, on the market, you will see many manufacturers' standard lamp bead models such as 5730, 3030, 2835, 5050, COB and so on. Let me introduce what these numbers mean. Take 5730 patch as an example:this patch lamp bead is usually named after the product's specifications, that is,5.7mm*3.0mm. The voltage of red and yellow light is generally around 1.9-2.4V. The voltage of blue, white and green light is generally between 2.9-3.6V. If the power is 0.2W, the rated current is 60mA. If the power is 0.5W, the rated current is 150mA. It is actually a parameter value of current and voltage.
We all know that in the case of series connection, the voltage does not change, and the current is added. Therefore, the entire lamp bead should be lit, and the required starting voltage must be at least 3.2V, there are not too high at this voltage, it may cause a short circuit or damage the lamp beads.
We assume that this 5730 lamp bead is 0.5W, then the starting current required for this light source board is: 48*150mA=7200mA, of course, 7200mA represents the best state, if it is lower than this current, the light source can also. It`s just not playing its best condition. We then use voltage*current=7.2A*3.2V=23.04Wh, so we can conclude that the entire light source board is discharged with a power of 23W, which can theoretically last about an hour.
Look at another lamp bead 3030 that is also more commonly used in the market now. In the same way, this SMD lamp bead is also named after the product specifications, that is, 3.0mm*3.0mm. The voltage of 3030 SMD lamp beads: the voltage of white light is generally between 2.9-3.6V, and there are also 6V voltages. 3030 lamp beads are generally packaged into 1W. If the voltage is 3.2V, the rated current is about 300-330mA. If the power is 6V, the rated current is about 120-150mA. The aluminum base plate of 3030 lamp beads, the serial and parallel parameters are 6B5C, that is, 6 parallels and 5 strings. Assuming a 6V lamp bead is attached, the overall current and voltage of this light source is: 6*150mA=900mA, 5*6V=30V; if a 3.2V lamp bead is attached, then: 6*300mA=1800mA, 5*3.2V=16V. From this parameter, we deduced that this light source board is driven by the mains power,it isn`t a Solar light source board.
